Week 2- Fitness Testing has begun!
K- Students will be learning the classroom rules and expectations this week.
1- Students will be discussing germs for their first health class of the year. We will also be doing a fun experiment to show how germs spread. Students will be reviewing warm-ups and stretches.
2-5- Students in grades 2-5 will begin their 1 mile run this week! I am so thrilled to see so many enthusiastic students ready to run! Please make sure your children are wearing proper clothing a shoes for running and are bringing their water bottles!

Week 1- WELCOME BACK!
This week grades 1-5 will be learning the classroom routines and procedures. We will also be doing some fun team building activities!
Students is grades 2-5 will begin their Fall fitness testing starting next week. Their fitness test will consist of a 1 mile run, 60 second push-ups, and 60 second sit-ups. I saw amazing improvements last year from each and every student! I know this year wont be any different!
Please make sure your child is wearing the proper clothes and footwear to Health and Fitness class. (Loose fitting clothes and sneakers) I encourage water bottles to be brought to each health and fitness class, however will confiscate them if used inappropriately.
I am excited for this year to begin and cannot wait to begin our year to healthier lifestyles!
